We are so excited about the launch of our new Wednesday night kids’ program, BLAST!
BLAST stands for:
Believe,
Learn,
and
Seek
Truth
Even though the name of our program has changed, our structure will remain the same. BLAST is open to children ages 2 years old-5th grade. We will continue to meet every Wednesday starting Sep. 13th, 2023 - Jun. 5th, 2024 from 6:30 to 8:00pm and follow the HISD school calendar regarding holidays and closures. Your kids may also be dropped off at 6:00pm for a $5 dinner at church.
Each regular meeting will include:
Engaging Worship
Interactive Bible Lessons
Exciting Games
Fun Crafts
Special Prayer Time
Yearly registration is only $50 per child which may be paid in cash or checks payable to: Rice Temple Baptist Church.
We are also encouraging each child to give $1 every Wednesday to help support our local mission, CCSC. We are collecting this money in order to teach our kids the importance of sharing with others.
Payment plans are available so please do not let finances prevent any of your children from attending BLAST. Contact

The RTBC Kids Ministry
We provide a safe,
loving, and trusting environment for families with young children.
We are committed to support families by teaching God’s word and maintaining an
atmosphere that inspires faith and growth.
We focus on guiding children through each stage of life
to grow their faith in God, through purposeful teaching and engaging programs
designed specifically for them.
We help children from nursery (3 months) through grade 5 learn God’s truth and
shape a Biblical understanding of the world in a safe and nurturing environment.
We value each child as one of God’s special creation, they know they are loved and
cared for and parents are supported.
Nursery facilities and kid’s rooms will be open 10 minutes prior
and after any scheduled church program.
Parents should pick up their child immediately following the service or event.
